Coming to
Louisville
Arrival from the Airport:
The
Belknap Campus of the
University
of
Louisville
is approximately 3 miles from Louisville International Airport (SDF).
We suggest that conference participants use taxis for their arrival on
campus. Because of the short distance you will need to travel, taxi
fares are unlikely to exceed $10. At the airport, taxis can be
found at the traffic island on the left of the taxi stand.

The exits for the
University
of
Louisville
are directly off of I-65 North or South.
If coming from I-265 (Gene Snyder) or I-264 (Watterson
Expressway), you will want to head North on I-65.
If coming from I-71
South or I-64 East or West, you will want to head south on I-65.
Directions, if coming from the North:
1. Take
I-65 South (toward
Nashville
) to the
Arthur Street
exit (Exit 134). If you reach the Fairgrounds / Watterson Expressway
exits, you have gone too far.
2. Continue to the
first stop sign,
Arthur street
and
Brandeis Avenue
.
3. Turn right onto
Brandeis Avenue
/
Cardinal Boulevard
.
4. Continue on
Cardinal Boulevard
until
Third Street
.
5. Turn left onto
Third Street
.
6. Go approximately
three blocks and the
University
of
Louisville West Entrance
will be on your left.
7. Turn left into the
West Entrance.
8. The West
Information Center is on your right.
9. Proceed to the
drive-up window.
Directions, if coming from the South:
1. Take
I-65 North (toward
Indianapolis
) to the second
Eastern Parkway
exit (west 133B).
2. There
is a stop sign at the end of the exit ramp.
3. Veer
right, following the curve around to the traffic light at
Eastern Parkway
.
4. Turn
right.
5. Continue
on
Eastern Parkway
to the second traffic light at
Third Street
.
6. Turn
Right.
7. Continue
one block and turn right at the
University
of
Louisville West Entrance
.
8.
Information
Center
West is on the
right.
9. Proceed
to the drive-up window.
